More Obama Leaks to Harm Israel: "U.S. Sees Israel as Spy Threat"

*Source: Atlas Shrugs

Obama's war on America's number one ally in the Middle East gets hotter. This is exactly what I warned of in my book, The Post-American Presidency: The Obama Administration's War on America.

His closest confidantes and mentors are/were vicious Jew-haters. This is not without disastrous consequences. Obama's catastrophic anti-freedom foreign policy was instrumental in the rise of jihadist and Islamic supremacist regimes across the Middle East and North Africa.

Today we learn of another well-placed leak. Like all of Obama's well placed leaks, it is designed to harm Israel and the unique relationship we shared with our freedom-loving ally. The objective of this leak is to tarnish Israel in the eye's of the American people in order to undermine the support Israel has among the majority of the American people. This is necesssary if he is to break the American-Israeli special bond we have enjoyed for sixty plus years.

The idea that Israel is a technological threat because they lead the world in this field, but that "U.S. national secrets are safer from other Middle Eastern governments than from Israel" (because those barbaric cultures cannot invent their way out of a paper bag) is the height of propaganda and smear.

"U.S. officials, a CIA officer in Israel came home to find the food in the refrigerator had been rearranged. In all the cases, the U.S. government believes Israel's security services were responsible."

Yes, the Jews were playing with their food.

"U.S. sees Israel as spy threat" USA Today

Despite inarguable ties between the U.S. and its closest ally in the Middle East and despite statements from U.S. politicians trumpeting the friendship, U.S. national security officials consider Israel to be, at times, a frustrating ally and a genuine counterintelligence threat.

In addition to what the former U.S. officials described to AP as intrusions in homes in the past decade, Israel has been implicated in U.S. criminal espionage cases and disciplinary proceedings against CIA officers and blamed in the presumed death of an important spy in Syria for the CIA during the administration of President George W. Bush.

The CIA considers Israel its No. 1 counterintelligence threat in the agency's Near East Division, the group that oversees spying across the Middle East, according to current and former officials. Counterintelligence is the art of protecting national secrets from spies. This means the CIA believes that U.S. national secrets are safer from other Middle Eastern governments than from Israel.

Israel employs highly sophisticated, professional spy services that rival American agencies in technical capability and recruiting human sources. Unlike Iran or Syria, for example, Israel as a steadfast U.S. ally enjoys access to the highest levels of the U.S. government in military and intelligence circles.

The officials spoke to AP on condition of anonymity because they weren't authorized to talk publicly about the sensitive intelligence and diplomatic issues between the two countries.

It gets worse.

Assisted by a biased media, Barack Obama has turned his back on more than six decades of American-Israeli friendship.

This video, produced by Accuracy in Media, documents President Obama's often hostile, one-sided pressure on Israel. It also shows how the President will do anything to ensure his own chances for re-election, even if it means allowing Iran to continue developing nuclear weapons while it plays a cynical game of stalling and deception.
