Hypocritical gun-control ballad from man who previously said “I wouldn’t be the nigga that I am if I didn’t pop niggas in their mouth”

The latest hypocritical celebrity to jump on the anti-Second Amendment gun-control bandwagon, for no purpose other than increased notoriety, is rapper Snoop Dogg.

In his new video for the song “No Guns Allowed”, featuring Drake and Cori B., Snoop Lion, as he now refers to his “reincarnated” Rastafarian persona, interjects anti-gun lyrics with footage of mass school shootings and newspaper headlines regarding the tragedies.

The video even opens up with President Obama speaking during the memorial for the children killed in the Sandy Hook Elementary School shootings.

“It’s a powerful song and we hope to spread a positive message that hits home with people,” says Snoop Lion. “We’ve seen too much bloodshed involving guns and we want to prevent the next incident from happening. That’s what’s it all about, trying to bring awareness and push love and peace.”



Really?
Considering the lyrical and personal history of “Tha Doggfather”, real name: Calvin Cordozar Broadus, Jr., the very notion that he is suddenly anti-gun is laughable.

Snoop has been arrested and charged with illegal gun possession a number of times. The irony of him advocating gun control legislation that includes universal background checks for everyone will not be lost on law abiding gun owners. He is a case in point that background checks are irrelevant when people who have no respect for the law are intent on getting hold of guns.

We do not profess to be experts on Snoop Dogg’s lyrics or the meaning of his songs, but it isn’t difficult to recognize that a huge amount are glorifying of violence, and in particular of gun violence.

Here are a few prime examples:

We could go on, but the point is pretty clear. Snoopy likes “popping niggas” with guns – A LOT.
Most celebrities love to be seen in the public eye doing what they believe is right for their careers. That’s why so many of them instantly put their faces behind the push for strict gun control in the wake of the Sandy Hook shooting in December.

Many were rightly exposed as hypocrites, given that they routinely star in movies and television productions in which depictions of gun violence are commonplace.

It gets to the point of ridiculousness when someone like Sylvester Stallone begins to lecture the American public on gun rights. In his last Rambo movie, Stallone shot to death 83 bad guys, and his latest film is called “Bullet To The Head”.

But perhaps we shouldn’t be too hard on Snoop. Perhaps he has seen the error of his ways after being arrested multiple times on illegal gun related charges. Perhaps he has tired of spitting lyrics about “cracking the mac back,” “popping off,” and “smacking necks back”.

When celebrities open their mouths the world listens. This is a fact. It may be a sad fact, but nevertheless, it is a fact. So with two celebrities talking about gun control in the media today, it is interesting to take a peek and find out if either of them makes any sense.

In comments to reporters, Die Hard star Bruce Willis noted that gun control laws pose a direct threat to wider freedoms under the bill of rights:

“I think that you can’t start to pick apart anything out of the Bill of Rights without thinking that it’s all going to become undone,” Willis told The Associated Press.
”If you take one out or change one law, then why wouldn’t they take all your rights away from you?” the star added.

The 57-year-old actor also commented that in his opinion strict gun control legislation would do little to prevent mass shootings in the future:

“It’s a difficult thing and I really feel bad for those families,” he said. “I’m a father and it’s just a tragedy. But I don’t know how you legislate insanity. I don’t know what you do about it. I don’t even know how you begin to stop that.”

Now consider an opposing opinion from comedian Chris Rock, who today took to the podium at a press conference for the “Demand A Plan” movement, which is lobbying to support the Obama administration’s proposals for strict gun control laws.

Rock said:

“I am just here to support the President of the United States. The President is our boss, but he is also… you know, the President and the First Lady are kinda like the Mom and the Dad of the country. And when your Dad says something you listen, and if you don’t it can bite you on the ass later on. So, I’m here to support the President.”




So, who makes most sense? Who has the most considered opinion? Not by any coincidence, it’s the guy who isn’t jumping on any kind of political bandwagon.

Big Sis Begins Releasing Biological Agents Into Boston Subway

Assures public safety, despite government history of dangerous biological testing on the American public

The Department of Homeland Security will begin releasing a dead bacteria into the Boston subway tomorrow in an operation it says will test sensors designed to detect biological agents that could be released as part of a terrorist attack.

Little is known about what exactly the bacteria consists of, and the DHS has not been very forthcoming with information, saying only that it is a “non-infectious” material that has been “approved as a food supplement”.

The Boston Globe reports:

The tests will begin Wednesday and will be held periodically over the next year at the Harvard and Porter Square stations in Cambridge and the Davis Square station in Somerville.

“A rapid alert from a detection system can locate and identify these materials and provide for immediate and appropriate response to protect people and contain the hazard,” stated DHS scientist Anne Hultgren in the agency’s press release.

“This detection system will be one of the first such installed in the country, and, if it proves to be effective, could serve as a model for other mass transportation venues throughout the nation and the world,” said MBTA Transit Police Chief Paul MacMillan in the joint press release Monday.

Back in May when the plan was announced, Federal officials said that they were to release a bacteria called B-subtilis, noting that it “has been rigorously tested and has no adverse health effects for low exposure in healthy people.”

What effect the tests will have on unhealthy people or those exposed to higher doses is unknown.

The DHS has released a 28-page summary entitled ‘Environmental Assessment for Bacillus subtilis Particles to Challenge Bio-Detection Sensors in Subway Stations’ (PDF).

Given the federal government’s ominous record in releasing biological agents into subway systems and other transport hubs, it’s no surprise that this latest example is sure to cause consternation.

During a Senate hearing in 1977, it was revealed that the Pentagon had conducted numerous secret germ “attacks” on cities without public knowledge in an effort to test the threat posed by biological agents. These tests “may have caused outbreaks of disease which occurred in some of the test areas,” writes Leonard A. Cole, citing the Senate inquiry.

These “attacks” included a 1964-65 program carried out by the U.S. Army which involved unsuspecting travelers being sprayed with bacteria-laden mist at Washington’s National Airport.

Another example involved light bulbs containing Bacillus globigii that were dropped in the New York Subway by government scientists and allowed to contaminate the air. Similar tests were also conducted in the Chicago subway system, but when people started falling ill the connection with the tests was fudged because the government refused to keep track of the health effects of the released substance.

The hidden U.S. history of germ testing in general also serves as a warning that allowing the government to experiment with biological agents in public which it claims are perfectly safe has not always been a wise choice.

Project SHAD, a Cold War-era Department of Defense program in which veterans were exposed to deadly chemical weapons without their knowledge or consent, also represents a dark chapter in the U.S. government’s use of dangerous biological agents against its own people.

Since the 1940′s, the military and the CIA have conducted numerous “tests” on the American people, including the release of dengue fever carrying mosquitoes in Georgia and Florida, biological warfare tests on the civilian population in Puerto Rico, the release of bacillus globigii from a submarine on the port of Oahu, Hawaii, and dozens of other incidents, most of them classified.

There are countless other examples of the US having illegally tested and used bio-weapons on its own citizens. The Tuskegee Syphilis Study and The Program F fluoride study being two more notable examples.

The Pentagon’s biowarfare program has long been in operation and US citizens have never been spared from experimentation. As we have previously noted, the government has admitted and apologized for such programs, but only after the facts are fully exposed. They are not sorry for carrying out the experiments, rather they are merely sorry for getting caught.

The history of U.S. government and military experimentation on American citizens and the innumerable deaths and illnesses that occurred as a result underscore the fact that trusting the Department of Homeland Security, which has proven itself to be one of the most corrupt and secretive federal agencies in existence, to carry out such tests in public, no matter how “safe” the DHS claims them to be, is the height of stupidity.

Indeed, the DHS also claims its naked body scanning machines are “safe” despite being linked with cancer by numerous health authorities, and refuses to allow them to be independently tested, so why on earth should the federal agency be believed when it claims the bacteria it plans to release is harmless?

Judge Napolitano: “Obama Is Dangerously Close to Totalitarianism”.

Constitutional expert Judge Andrew Napolitano says he fears that the president is skirting “dangerously close to totalitarianism” with his recent questioning of the authority of the Supreme Court to conduct a review of ObamaCare.

Appearing on Neil Cavuto’s “Your World” show Wednesday, the Judge warned that Obama was systematically flouting the system of checks and balances established by the founding fathers.

“A few months ago he was saying the Congress doesn’t count. The Congress doesn’t mean anything. I am going to rule by decree and by administrative regulation.” Napolitano said.

“Now he’s basically saying the Supreme Court doesn’t count. It doesn’t matter what they think. They can’t review our legislation. That would leave just him as the only branch of government standing.”

“I think he has some problems with understanding the Constitution or accepting limitations on his power.” the Judge added.

During a speech at the Eisenhower Executive Office Building, with Vice President Joe Biden in February, Obama said “Whenever Congress refuses to act, Joe and I, we’re going to act,” adding “In the months to come, wherever we have an opportunity, we’re going to take steps on our own to keep this economy moving.”

Earlier this week Obama appeared to challenge the “unelected” Supreme Court not to take an “extraordinary” and “unprecedented” step of overturning his health reform law.

“Ultimately, I am confident that the Supreme Court will not take what would be an unprecedented, extraordinary step of overturning a law that was passed by a strong majority of a democratically elected Congress,” Obama said.

The president then stated “…for years, what we have heard is, the biggest problem on the bench was judicial activism, or a lack of judicial restraint, that an unelected group of people would somehow overturn a duly constituted and passed law,” he said. “Well, this is a good example, and I’m pretty confident that this court will recognize that and not take that step.”

In essence, Obama appears to be making the case that the Constitution is outdated because it allows for “an unelected group of people” to make judicial decisions.

Judge Napolitano points out that this is an extreme view for anyone to take, let alone a president.

“There are equal branches of the government, but with respect to what the law means and what the Constitution means, the court is superior to the president.” Napolitano noted.

“No president in modern times has questioned their authority.”

“This is an extreme view of the Supreme Court and the Constitution, one that has not been articulated since Andrew Jackson.” The Judge urged.
