New Matt Damon Movie Reveals Mankind’s Transhumanist Destiny

Elysium: The super elite centralizes technological progress to achieve utopia

Elysium, a new movie starring Matt Damon and Jodie Foster, depicts what many futurists have long predicted is mankind’s ultimate destiny – the division of the human race into two new class systems – a transhumanist elite that centralizes technological progress to achieve utopia, and a massive underclass left to rot on a dying planet ruled by robotic drones.

The trailer for the movie, set to be released on August 9 in the US, begins by depicting an army of robot drones in control of policing that shake down and beat citizens for trivial “violations”. The year is 2154. 

When Damon’s character expresses anger at his treatment, he is offered a pill to calm him by a robotic bureaucrat. Any form of dissent is treated as “abusive”.

“Humanity is divided between two worlds,” reads the caption, explaining that most of humanity is left to reside on an overpopulated, collapsing earth while the super elite have developed a gargantuan and luxurious off-planet space habitat called Elysium where war, poverty, hunger and disease are non-existent.

Damon’s character is forced to undergo cybernetic enhancements before he can lead a mission to Elysium in order to find a cure for a cancer virus he has contracted. The movie is also clearly designed to be a political jibe at anti-immigration activists.

However, many of the themes of Elysium are clearly lifted from the work of futurists like Ray Kurzweil, who in his book The Age of Spiritual Machines predicted the body scanner depicted in the trailer which eliminates cancer cells.

Kurzweil’s 1999 book, which successfully foresaw the invention of the iPhone, the iPad, Google Glass, iTunes, You Tube and on demand services like Netflix as well as the Kindle, predicts that by 2029 the vast majority of humans will have augmented their bodies with cybernetic implants and those who refuse or are unable to do so will form a “human underclass” that is not productively engaged in the economy.

The wider trend of the elite seeing humans as completely expendable as their roles are taken up by machines unfolds after 2029 when, “There is almost no human employment in production, agriculture, and transportation,” writes Kurzweil.

By 2099, the entire planet is run by artificially intelligent computer systems which are smarter than the entire human race combined – similar to the Skynet system fictionalized in the Terminator franchise.

Humans who resist the pressure to alter their bodies by becoming part-cyborg will be ostracized from society.

“Even among those human intelligences still using carbon-based neurons, there is ubiquitous use of neural implant technology, which provides enormous augmentation of human perceptual and cognitive abilities. Humans who do not utilize such implants are unable to meaningfully participate in dialogues with those who do,” writes Kurzweil.

One of the most prescient voices of dissent against this future – despite his murderous actions – was Theodore Kaczynski, the Unabomber, who is widely quoted by futurists like Kurzweil and Bill Joy as sagely outlining the dangers posed to the general public by the elite’s drive for technological singularity, as depicted in the Elysium movie.

“Due to improved techniques the elite will have greater control over the masses; and because human work will no longer be necessary the masses will be superfluous, a useless burden on the system. If the elite is ruthless they may simply decide to exterminate the mass of humanity. If they are humane they may use propaganda or other psychological or biological techniques to reduce the birth rate until the mass of humanity becomes extinct, leaving the world to the elite,” wrote Kaczynski in his manifesto.

US Army Colonel Issues Warning About Remorseless “Killer Robots”

Drones are the “start of the rise of the machines”

Award-winning military writer and former intelligence officer Lt. Col. Douglas Pryer has penned an essay warning of the threat posed by remorseless “killer robots” that will be used to stalk and slaughter human targets in the near future.

Pryer worked in military intelligence after joining the US Army in 1992 and has served in Iraq, Afghanistan and Kosovo. He has won several prestigious awards since he began writing in 2009.

In an essay published by the United States Army Combined Arms Center, Pryer laments how the use of unmanned drones – which kill 50 innocent civilian for every suspected terrorist – are perpetuating wars and endangering America’s global reputation. He then makes a stark warning that the drone strike program is merely a pre-cursor to the kind of nightmare technocracy depicted in the Terminator movies.

“It seems heart-breakingly obvious that future generations will someday look back upon the last decade as the start of the rise of the machines,” writes Pryer, adding that the US government is developing, “robots so advanced that they make today’s Predators and Reapers look positively impotent and antique. These killer robots, though, will share one thing in common with their primitive progenitors: with remorseless purpose, they will stalk and kill any human deemed “a legitimate target” by their controllers and programmers.”

Pryer’s comments echo those of Noel Sharkey, professor of artificial intelligence and robotics at the University of Sheffield, who has repeatedly warned that the robots currently being developed under the auspices of DARPA will eventually be used to kill.

Sharkey described the DARPA robots as “an incredible technical achievement, but it’s unfortunate that it’s going to be used to kill people.”

“It’s going to be used for chasing people across the desert, I would imagine. I can’t think of many civilian applications – maybe for hunting, or farming, for rounding up sheep.” Sharkey added.

“But of course if it’s used for combat, it would be killing civilians as well as it’s not going to be able to discriminate between civilians and soldiers.”

In a 50-page report published last year, Human Rights Watch also warned that artificially intelligent robots let loose on the battlefield would inevitably commit war crimes.

“Giving machines the power to decide who lives and dies on the battlefield would take technology too far. Human control of robotic warfare is essential to minimizing civilian deaths and injuries. It is essential to stop the development of killer robots before they show up in national arsenal. As countries become more invested in this technology, it will become harder to persuade them to give it up,” said, HRW’s Steve Goose, calling for a ban on the technology.

Last year, experts at the prestigious University of Cambridge announced a project to conduct research into the “extinction-level risks” posed to humanity by artificially intelligent robots.

Wonder Girl’s “Like Money”: Promoting Transhumanisn Through K-Pop

We’ve seen in previous articles that the concept of transhumanism (which can be defined as the merging of humans and robots) is actively being promoted in mass media, whether it be movies, TV shows, music videos or video games (for articles on the subject, type “transhumanism” in the search bar at the top of the page).

A blatant example of the promotion of transhumanism can be found in the Wonder Girl’s latest video, Like Money. This widely popular K-Pop group is crossing over to America (the song is in English and features Akon) and has been pushing Illuminati symbolism for a while.

In the video, the singers are depicted as robots constructed by faceless scientists and presented as “new and improved” versions of themselves. Yes, apparently losing one’s soul and becoming a remote-controlled robot is now considered an “improvement”. If you want to watch the video, you can view it here.

The video starts with scrambled video of a single eye, a fun way of letting you know that there’s going to be some Illuminati Agenda going on there.

The intro of the video describes “Project WG and is pretty much an infomercial for transhumanism. Here’s what it says:

“Project WG, deemed a success. Human genetics are combined with robotic enhancements. Yubin, Yenny, Sohee, Lim, Sun: Bionic women given the title of Wonder Girls. They are perfectly designed for complete domination. The future is now.”

These short few phrases contain pretty much all of the characteristics of the transhumanist agenda. By using words such as “enhancements”, “bionic”, “perfectly designed” and “domination”, the concept of transhumanism is sold as something better than regular old human beings. The last phrase “The future is now” is a nice example of predictive programming as it basically tells the viewers that transhumanism will inevitably be part of the future.

The next scenes of the video show members of the group completely blank and lifeless on high-tech operating tables and being put together by faceless scientists. Not only does it make transhumanism look cool, it is a great way of depicting puppets of the music industry. All of internal organs (even the heart) have been removed to be replaced by mechanical parts.

If eyes are windows to the soul, than this electronic eye is a window nothing much.

The rest of the video features amazing lyrics such as “Love me like money, Love me like cars, Love me babe love me babe wherever you are” – proving that brains were probably also removed during “Project WG”.
